Announced yesterday, the University of Exeter has secured a new partnership with Halo to provide Falmouth and Exeter students and staff with rapid Coronavirus testing.
The simple test and fast results will enable the University to both quickly reassure people with possible symptoms but who are not infected and also identify any positive cases who can then be isolated and supported to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

A Falmouth woman who had a running accident this afternoon is appealing for the woman who helped her.
Michelle Brown, 42, tripped during her run today - she has sustained cuts and bruises to her face and legs.
Nightclubs have been told that they can reopen their doors, but only if they operate as pubs and have no music or dancing.
Cornwall Council's licensing team has explained the rules and regulations set by the government for nightclubs as part of the current coronavirus restrictions.

Falmouth business owners have been warned after Trespass outdoor clothing store was burgled yesterday (8th September).
In a post on social media, a member of the team at Trespass said:
A local boating company has fallen victim of theft after discovering engines had been stolen from boats on the beach at Helford Passage.
Helford River Boats Ltd revealed details of the incident that is believed to have occurred in the early hours.

Falmouth residents are divided at the news that one of Earth's largest privately-owned cruise ship, 'MS The World', will be departing the town.
A resident who enquired into the departure of the ship announced it would be leaving on the 14th September.
Last night the government announced new Covid-19 restrictions.
The new rules follow a sharp rise in confirmed new cases with more than 8,000 being recorded since the weekend.
