Chy An Dowr - Cemetery Land

Taylor Wimpey has handed over six acres of land to Falmouth Town Council for a cemetery extension and to St Budock Church to help create a new space for community use.

The land transfer to Falmouth Town Council and the Truro Diocesan Board of Finance is part of the housebuilder's planning obligations for its Chy An Dowr development in Bickland Water Road, which currently has just one home left for sale.

Hundreds of residents have responded to a Cornwall Council appeal to share their experiences of the government's Covid-19 testing service.

The appeal went out after concerns were raised that people suffering from symptoms associated with Covid-19 were struggling to book a test or were being offered test slots at locations outside Cornwall – in some cases hundreds of miles away.
