Cornwall Council has revealed that it is aware of seven early years, education or further education settings in the county which have confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The authority also says that currently 1.2% of schoolchildren in Cornwall are absent due to COVID-19.
Residents in Falmouth, Penryn and Cornwall wide are being told to be wary of a new scam that has been reported.
People have been receiving automated calls from "HMRC", but this is in fact a scam.
Concerns have been raised over the number of recent beach fires happening on Gyllyngvase Beach.
A Falmouth resident got in touch with Nub News as the situation has escalated saying it had become a "real issue".

Karen Penny from Gower, Wales is walking the Coast of Britain and Ireland for Alzheimer's Research, and she is set to pass through Falmouth this week.
On Thursday 24th September Karen will walk from Helford Point to Falmouth Pier and on Friday 25th from Falmouth Pier to Portloe.

The police have revealed that Operation Vortex, targeting those who flout road safety laws has seen 277 drivers in Devon and Cornwall prosecuted by officers for various traffic offences and over 1,000 motorists caught speeding.
The crackdown saw unmarked police vehicles targeting drivers over 10 days of action between Tuesday 1st September and Wednesday 16th September.

A Falmouth son has appealed to find a stranger who helped a family through the "worst time of their lives."
In November 2017, Amanda Batty, 49 was admitted into Treliske Hospital with a respiratory arrest.
