Penryn Surgery is accepting people into trials for the Coronavirus vaccine, it was announced this afternoon.
The opportunity presented itself as the surgery, based on Saracen Way is classed as a research practice.

Falmouth's The Oggymen have released their fourth album today 'How It Belongs To Be' - with a tribute to well known local characters on the album cover.

Falmouth based beer line cleaning company Clear Brew is offering free cleaning services ahead of venues reopening next month.
Based on The Moor, Clear Brew has made the offer to any venue in the TR or PL postcode, a full free of charge deep clean to the entire dispense system.
Local pirate enthusiasts, SeaGriffin Games, have launched their new game, Dice Splice, on Kickstarter this week, raising over half of their target in just 3 days.
Following the launch of their hugely popular game Pirates of Penryn, Caitlin Russell and Matt Tweed have launched a new tabletop game on Kickstarter, hoping to raise funds for its mass production.

Falmouth and Penryn residents can now see the rubbish, recycling and garden waste collection timetable over Christmas.
The timetable was released last week by Cornwall Council.
Falmouth and Helston Police have issued a warning to motorcycle owners this morning.
They are being urged to keep their motorcycles secure following a series of thefts around Falmouth this month.

You may all remember Toobs, the Falmouth dog who went missing overboard a boat not long ago, well that dog is now in a record-breaking challenge to swim the distance of 17.36nm (20 miles) across The English Channel to raise money and awareness for difficult-to-home rescue dog charities.
Way back in August, the owner of Jonah or 'toobs' put out an appeal after the border collie went missing from a boat.
