Woman charged with attempted murder following incident in Falmouth

A 46-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder in connection with an alleged assault on two people at a property in Falmouth.

Police were called at around 11.45pm on Saturday 23rd November and located a man and woman with serious knife wounds at an address in Windsor Court.

The pair, both aged in their 40s, were taken to hospital, where they remain at this time. Both are said to be in a stable condition.

Jessica Stunell, of Woodlane, Falmouth, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder.

She is further charged with possession of a knife in a public place.

Stunell was taken into police custody and is due to appear at Truro Magistrates' Court today (Monday 25th November).
