Big vs Small - Friday 5th May
The Poly Falmouth will be hosting another film night this Friday.
When Filmmaker Minna Dufton started her documentary about elite big wave champion surfer, the "tiny fighter" Joana Andrade who rides the powerhouse waves at Nazaré, Portugal (home of the 100ft World Record Wave surfed by Garrett McNamara), little did she know Joana harbored a deep secret.

Bandstand Project Coronation Celebrations - Saturday 6th May
The Coronation Bandstand Project will see thousands of young musicians perform on bandstands in public parks across all 9 regions in England from 6 – 8 May 2023, enabling music and young people to play an important part in marking this historic occasion.
ASONE has chosen the bandstands at Princess Pavilions in Falmouth and Morrab Gardens in Penzance for the events, and each occasion will be full of young performers showcasing their talent in celebration of this historic event.
The event at the Princess Pavilions starts at 10.30 am where visitors are invited to watch the coronation onscreen. Performances from a variety of young people will commence at 12.00 pm or after the end of the Coronation Ceremony and will end at 7 pm. The Café is also open during those times.

Coronation Big Lunch - Sunday 7th May
The Seven Stars Pub in Falmouth will be hosting a "Coronation Big Lunch" and also "A cake fit for a King competition"
Gather your friends and your favourite foods for a picnic book a table and join them for a Sunday full of fun. Tables can be booked from 1 pm for a street party outside and inside.
You also have a chance to show off your Mary Berry/Paul Hollywood baking skills by entering the Cake competition all entries have to be in by 12.30 pm.
