The Dracaena Centre in Falmouth is always looking for ways to bring our community together, with a vision for an empowered, mutually supportive, and inclusive community within Falmouth & Penryn.

Here is a selection of groups that could be a source of support or fun for you or someone you know.

Dracaena Dragons

This is a FREE multi-sports group for ages 2- 10 years every Saturday.

9.00-9.30 am - 2-4 years

9.40-10.10 am- 5-7 years

10.20-10.50 am- 8-10 years

Please note parents must stay with their children throughout the session.

Dracaena Dragons

50+ Social Group

Every Monday from 1 pm - 3 pm, each session has a fee of £2 which includes lunch at around 1:15 pm.

There is a varied programme of talks, workshops, sports, and games. Feel free to take part in whatever you feel comfortable doing or just enjoy the company of like-minded people.

In the sports hall, they can provide access to many different sports for you to try.

Youth Support

A free drop-in service for young people aged 11-25 years old every Friday from 3.00 pm – 6.30 pm.

This service provides confidential advice and support on a variety of topics in a relaxed and friendly setting:

  • Mental Health
  • Bullying
  • Friendships
  • Anxiety coping techniques
  • School and College Support
  • Positive relationships
  • Sexual Health 
  • Understanding your rights
  • Work and Skills
  • Housing
  • Access to a range of youth activities, projects, and services
  • Referrals and signposting

This is a drop-in service, so no appointment is necessary, but you can contact a Youth Worker by calling 07716435235 or email: [email protected]

Little Steps

Free sessions every Wednesday during term time from 1.00-3.00 pm.

A supportive group for all parents and carers with children aged 0-5 years, providing opportunities to meet other parents, socialise and have a cup of tea!

Free play, themed activities, crafts, messy play, music, and snacks

Little Steps

After School Multi Sports Club

A free sports club every Tuesday during term time.

6-10 years 4.15 pm – 5.00 pm

11-14 years 5.15 pm – 6.00 pm

Join the sports coach to try a mix of sports: basketball, badminton, archery, football, and much more!
