A wet start with persistent and in places heavy rain across the region. Rain will clear from the west from late morning into the early afternoon, with much brighter skies to end the day. Feeling pleasant in the sunshine. Breezy. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Dry this evening with largely clear skies and winds easing. Staying dry overnight, but skies will turn a little cloudier in places during the early hours. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
