Mostly dry at first with some early brightness in places. Showers developing, initially in western areas, but spreading to most parts by the afternoon. Some heavy, thundery downpours are possible, as well as longer spells of rain in places. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
Showers will continue through the evening and overnight, with the continued risk of thunder at times. Some clearer interludes developing later and becoming breezier. Minimum temperature 7 °C.
