What's new at Falmouth's Castle Beach Cafe? Speaking to the owner on reopening day

By Joseph Macey 16th Sep 2021

Today (29th) signalled the reopening for Castle Beach Cafe coming back for the first time since the end of December.

The owner of Castle Beach Cafe Fiona Crump sat down with Nub News today to discuss the reopening and tell us what's new.

The cafe is now open 10:00am until 4:00pm seven days per week.

Fiona couldn't have asked for a better first day back with the sun out and people sitting down on the day lockdown restrictions started to relax slightly.

Fiona told Nub News:

"It is really lovely, it is such a nice community down at Castle Beach it feels like I have missed friends all winter and they are all pleased to be out in the sunshine.

"We still have a limited menu but we have extended to salad boxes and we have added vegan pasties and sausage rolls, extra flavours of ice creams and vegan ice cream we are trialling.

"Really glad to be back and looking forward to having some seating back as well but for now just as a takeaway it is good to be here."
