Plastic Free Falmouth hosted their first beach clean of 2020 on Sunday.

Over 50 volunteers turned up to help the cause and collected 79kgs of litter together, split into recyclable and general waste.

Ella Simpson, Beach Clean Coordinator at Plastic Free Falmouth, told Falmouth Nub News:

"It was a great day and lots of new faces too, so we hope to have more people come along to our next clean in February!"

Plastic Free Falmouth wrote on Facebook:

"Someone found a pair of pants (always a pair of pants!)

"So many drinks cans, I think there must have been a few New Years Eve parties. The most disgusting thing was a large plastic bottle full of someone's pee."
