Falmouth's RNLI shop is looking for Saturday and Sunday volunteers to join the team and help raise vital funds to support their work.

The shop on Arwenack Street opened back in June after Falmouth's previous RNLI shop, which was part of the lifeboat station, had to be closed in December 2022 to make space for better crew-changing facilities.

The RNLI shop is co-located with the Falmouth Harbour - front office team, which they say is a perfect fit between the maritime organisations and the bustling footfall of the local community and visitors to the historic waterfront.

The shop sells a wide selection of RNLI gifts and souvenirs, from homewares and clothing to toys and cards. The funds go towards Falmouth's lifeboats and their crews.

If you have a morning or afternoon spare on the weekend then you can support Falmouth's lifeboat by joining the successful shop team.

You can apply online https://volunteering.rnli.org/.../shop-volunteer-falmouth..., pop into the shop on Arwenack St, or email [email protected] and they will get back to you.
