A man is in custody following a murder investigation into the death of Falmouth man, Aaron Pill.

Police were called to a residential address on Tresawle Road shortly after midnight yesterday morning, Tuesday 5 May.

Mr Pill was said to have sustained serious injuries and, despite the best efforts of the emergency services, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

A police spokesperson said:

"A 24-year-old man from Falmouth has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is in police custody."

Residents are tonight holding a candlelight vigil in Aaron's memory.

A social media group has been set up for residents to post photos of their individual candle burnings to show support and solidarity for Aaron's family.
