In an update provided this morning, Trescobeas Surgery are having to take action after a second member of staff tested positive for covid.

A large proportion of the reception team are now in self-isolation, with a recent plea for patience from the clinical team as staff members work from home.

The reception team is being set up with laptops and phones and answering calls remotely - but it may take longer to connect to them.

In an update (Monday 12th), a spokesperson added:

"We would ask for your patience and understanding at this time - it may take longer than normal to connect to us, for which we sincerely apologise.

"As a result of this, we are only able to offer on-the-day emergency appointments. We will update you as the situation changes."

If you have a booked appointment with a member of the clinical team, you are asked to attend the surgery as planned, unless you hear otherwise.
