St Francis C of E School has issued an update to parents in which they outlined the measures being taken following recent Coronavirus cases.

On Friday the school closed two of the class bubbles after confirmed Covid cases.

The measures being taken are:

  • The entire school building 'fogged' with the effective cleaner and sanitizer Tersano.
  • A further deep clean of the school has taken place by CORMAC with every chair, table, surface etc cleaned and sanitized.

Issuing a notice to parents the school added:

"The school remains open to all pupils, apart from the children in the 2 class bubbles who now have to self-isolate. If your child is in one of those classes, then you will know the remote learning provision in place for the following week.

"To help us keep our school as safe as we can, please strictly adhere to all measures put in place at the school, and follow Government Guidance regarding self-isolating if anyone in your household is displaying symptoms."
