Want to come with us on a journey back to the 1940s and WW2? Then come join us at The Four-Teas Tearoom & Event Space in A Curious Hall on Webber Street, Falmouth TR11 3AU.

We are looking for flexible "time travellers" on a part-time basis.

You must be willing to wear 1940s dress of the day and to have a love of this period in time, you will be required to complete a written piece of work and the ability to be able to use mental arithmetic skills will also need to be demonstrated.

Time travel is an arduous task, so all "time travellers" need to be fit and well as climbing stairs is necessary. We need vibrant, energetic and outgoing people who are eager to serve customers and can work well in a team environment.

You will need to have a Food Safety Certificate, dated within the last twelve months, which is a modern necessity. We are also looking for someone who is working towards a qualification in catering or hospitality.

There will be opportunities for career development as we expand the operation.

"Travellers" will need to be outgoing and have a minimum of six months' experience of working in a food service industry, along with serving & waiting on tables.

Precision & consistency are required along with a quirky sense of humour.

The menu will be as authentic as possible to the 1940s era and will consist of basic drinks (no need to be a barista here), Breakfast, Light Lunches and Specials from the "Black Market" along with a Special Afternoon Tea.

Some food preparation duties will be undertaken along with a willingness to meet the customer's needs.

Flexibility in working hours is essential. We will require the successful time traveller to work across the working week (Mon-Fri) as well as occasional weekend & evening shifts as there will often be evening events which will need to be catered for, along with occasional weekends to cover for staff absence and leave.

The successful candidate will complete a three-month probationary period before joining the existing team. Progress will be monitored throughout this period.
