Penryn arts and events space, The Fish Factory, is inviting people who need company on Christmas day to come and spend time in their studios.

Opening their doors on the 25th December, the day will offer TV, unlimited tea and coffee and most importantly, people to socialise with on Christmas.

Acoustic musicians are being encouraged to come and play, as well as any vegan food donations people may have.

The Facebook page reads:

"Those who need company. Those who need a bite to eat in good company.

"Those who want something to smile about. Those who wish to play acoustic music.

"This is where friendships begin, stay all day, drink as many cups of tea/coffee as you like, read a book, watch a bit of telly, listen to some music."
