The award winning Cornish DJ and Events company, DJ in Cornwall, have been hosting nostalgic themed events in Falmouth for clubbers that want to travel back in time for a night.

Nub News Falmouth attended the second throwback event at the Rugby Club on Friday.

The party, that went on from 8pm-1am, featured a tracklist that took the venue back into the era of excess and groove.

Event goers were dressed in their best era defining outfits, featuring an array of striking colours and oversized blazers.

Nub News Falmouth spoke to Managing Director of the company, Jamie Reed:

"We are trying to bring back the nostalgia and memories of the 80s and 90s.

"We announced we were going to host these events at the Rugby Club as it's a big part of the community.

"Rugby Club benefits well from bar sales especially as their not in season at the moment - so it works both ways.

"We get on well with Adrian who is the bar manager here and it's been a great success tonight."

The next event is a 'school disco' theme and will be featuring music spanning from the 70s through to the 00s.
