'The classics never go out of style': Ukulele band perform at Falmouth care home

Residents and guests at Falmouth Court Care Home in Falmouth enjoyed an afternoon of grins with a live music performance that took place at the home.

Local group, The Constantine Ukulele Band performed a selection of classic hits from times gone by. Residents joined in with the singing, and clapped along as the band performed throughout the afternoon to various hits such as Bob Dylan 'You Ain't Goin' Nowhere', and The Beatles 'Let It Be'. 

Activities Coordinator, David Saunders said:

"Our residents and guests had a wonderful day singing along with the wonderful performers. We do our best to provide a wide range of activities and entertainment at Falmouth Court as part of the lifestyle enrichment programme for residents, and this was one of our favourites."

One resident added:

"I haven't heard some of these songs in many years. The classics never go out of style."

Falmouth Court care home is run by Barchester Healthcare. The home provides residential care and dementia care for 66 residents from respite care to long-term stays.
