A second Falmouth restaurant within the space of a day has temporarily closed following a positive Coronavirus test.

African restaurant Amanzi, on Arwenack Street, confirmed the news this evening.

Amanzi follows Star & Garter in closing, in a report we brought to you earlier today.

A spokesperson for Amanzi said:

"One of our staff members has tested positive today for Covid-19 and as a result, we have decided to close the restaurant.

"We will use this time to deep clean and reopen once all staff members are clear."
