Sunday morning, Pendennis Point, Falmouth. The Cornwall Wildlife Trust hosted a public seawatch as part of its Seaquest Southwest Project, in partnership with Falmouth Marine Conservation.

The seawatch is held on the first Sunday of each month to look for and learn about seals, dolphins, sunfish and sharks.

Becky Thomas, Falmouth Seaquest Coordinator, said: "I work in partnership with the Cornwall Wildlife Trust and Falmouth Marine Conservation to put on watches in the local area.

"The watches happen around Cornwall, Falmouth, Newquay, St Agnes, The Lizard, from 11am-1pm. We collect data set from the marine mammals we see around Cornwall just to understand what is going on.

"This is really useful information to see the state of our oceans and how abundant wildlife is, and if there is anything affecting it."

Unfortunately, there were no sightings this time. To find out about future Seaquest events, click the button below.
