This weekend Santa Claus will be making a stop off at Swanpool Beach giving out gifts to local children.

On Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th December from 11am to 3pm he'll be relaxing at a beach hut with gifts to give out.

Organised by the team at Swanpool Beach they said:

"Due to covid he'll be appropriately socially distanced but he's still very keen to know whether you've been naughty or nice.

"We're asking for a suggested donation of £2 per child and ALL proceeds will go to local charities Georgia's Voice and Man Down Cornwall.

"No need to book, just come along and we'll organise a socially distanced queue across the beach.

"It'll be weather dependent of course, but we'll update on Facebook with any changes."

Those at the beach have urged people planning to attend to observe social distancing, stay in bubbles and if the beach looks too crowded consider coming back later.
