In exciting news revealed today, a popular Falmouth watering hole The Front is getting ready for a reopening under new ownership and management.

Announced this morning, the team from The Front said they were "delighted" the pub was reopening.

The Front called "time at the bar" in June as it went up for sale amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Now taken over, a spokesperson for The Front revealed the news, saying:

"It was so important to us that The 'front went to people who cared about its story so when a team of loyal locals approached us who wanted to continue its legacy, there was no question who we'd pass the baton on to.

"After lying dormant for nine months, manager Rob is working hard with some familiar pub faces to get the doors open again and the ales and ciders of all the previous suppliers flowing.

"Thank you for your continued support and see you on the other side of the bar very soon."
