Royal Naval Association Falmouth receive funding boost from Mayor

Falmouth's Mayor Steve Eva have pledged over £200 to the towns Royal Naval Association.

The donation of £250 was made to the organisation from his 2020/21 mayoral fund.

Chairman Mick Stevens and branch members Brian Toney MBE and Sue Toney received the funds from the Mayor at a reception he held at the Princess Pavilion.

The event was for local organisations and charities that the

Mayor has supported, others that received donations included Sasha Would've Loved It, Pendennis Brass, Bosvale Community Centre.

The Andy Hocking Award was also handed to the Town's Environmental Education and Enforcement Officers, Sarah Walker and Tessa Marie.

The award was acknowledging their hard work and dedication over the last 15 months keeping residents and visitors safe with advice on covid measures at local beaches.
