Roadworks coming up in Falmouth and Penryn

There could be delays at Parkengue from today as work gets underway on a gas supply, continuing until 30th September.

A diversion will be in place on West Street, Penryn until tomorrow (29th) to repair a damaged manhole cover and frame.

On Cliff Road, traffic control will be in place until 11th October. Delays possible.

On Hillhead Road, from 5th October until the 9th October delays are likely for work to repair carriageway. The full length of road will be closed.

Until tomorrow (29th) surface treatment will be underway on the A39 Between Falmouth Road Roundabout and Roundabout East of Hillhead Farm, delays expected as the whole road will be affected.

On Bissom Road, the whole of the route is expected to be affected due to work to repair carriageway surface. Continuing until Wednesday (30th).

At Symons Hill until Friday (2nd) there is expected delays, the whole of the route will be closed for urgent work, "carriageway and one footway, a hole has opened up and there has been significant movement of both road and footway, unsafe to road users and pedestrians."

On Mongleath Road until Friday (2nd) traffic control will be in place due to the installation of a new water service. Expect delays.
