Nub News reviews The Brig

On Saturday evening, looking for a takeaway treat at the end of the working week I ordered from Falmouth restaurant The Brig.

Always love going into The Brig, a great atmosphere, usually sharing platters and cocktails with a few friends. Not ready for a full reopening The Brig moved onto Deliveroo a few months back.

Ashleigh Morgan, general manager and owner of The Brig spoke to Nub News in June about the changes to the restaurant and bar industry due to Coronavirus.

I picked the Brisket Burger with Handcut Chips, homemade dip and Brig Coleslaw (with smoked cheese) but you can select other cheeses.

For around £18 for all of it the portion size was superb (reference to the picture), you won't be disappointed.

It really depends on how you like your chips, these really thick-cut chips are really excellent, crispy, great for dipping.

I am still thinking about that brisket right now, it was so tasty just fell apart covered in a smokey sauce.

Usually, if you get a burger it falls apart but this one stood up really well considering all the ingredients inside it.

A simple idea made really well, a soft bun, smoked cheese, lettuce, tomato, patty, brisket, what's not to like?

All that rounded off with Brig coleslaw and homemade dip, very enjoyable.
