A road closure and diversion began this week on Truro Hill, Penryn, for wall repairs.
It will be in place 24 hours a day beginning on the 24th of May and is set to be completed on the 29th of June.
The closure will prohibit the use of traffic over an area of highway being Truro Hill, Penryn, between the junctions of The Praze and Vinery Meadow. Motorists could see up to a 10 minute delay if using this route.
"The council is satisfied that the order is needed because works are being executed on or near the road to carry out vegetation cutting," Kevin Bryant, Head of Highways and Infrastructure, added.
A diversion route has been signed off through Tresooth Lane and Ardhow.
Nothing in this order will apply to emergency services, traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies, and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
Pedestrian and Vehicular access to residents and businesses will also be maintained.
