Rewind: 1930s footage of Falmouth Town Centre

Residents can now get an insight into what Falmouth would have looked like in the 1930s thanks to a recent video.

The video shot from what appears to be a car was sent into Nub News by Treve, he said:

"Just thought it was too good to be left unwatched on YouTube."

The video was posted by Maxustaxus on Youtube, reading:

"Some interesting footage of Falmouth Town Centre taken around 1930s.

"Someone just sets up a camera in their car and simply drove around the town for a while (I think they start out of Pendennis Road into Melvill Road, they had been staying at the Holmlea Hotel if think).

"Film of this age often has missing splices and has deteriorated, so please bear with the quality...not as good as it could be, but better than nothing.

"It is fascinating to see how ordinary life was 90 years ago."
