Falmouth cafe Huddle announced its closure in September with 'immediate effect' as it felt the impact of Coronavirus.
Huddle, based on Church Street next to King Charles Church said that restrictions meant there is little chance of the cafe being financially sustainable for the foreseeable future.
Opened in late 2017, Huddle functioned as both a cafe and as a hub for activities, workshops, concerts, meetings, prayer events, and more.
A spokesperson for Huddle said:
"For nearly three years we have had the privilege of working with a team that have been like family, in a community that we have come to know and love. We know that this news will be disappointing to some and we're sorry. We cannot thank you enough for your love and support since we opened.
"Thank you to those who have run workshops and held gigs, or thrashed out uni projects over a flat white, those who joined us for Huddle worship every Wednesday morning, and anyone who helped at or attended the huge variety of events we've organised.
"We will also miss the constant trail of children and four-legged friends, what a joy you have all been. And we will definitely miss putting the world to rights over a huge slab of Marta's delicious cake.
"To our lovely neighbouring businesses who have consistently supported us - thank you! We will continue to champion you in whatever way we can; our little corner of Falmouth is awesome."
Though the cafeÌ is closing, plans are now being considered for the continued use of the space as the churches look to support the community during the pandemic.
