A Mylor resident has warned Swanpool residents to stay vigilant after finding her car vandalised this morning.

Bex Hamilton had parked her car by the footpath of Goldbank Estate in Swanpool and left it between 7pm and 8am, to come back in the morning to find the backside window smashed.

Bex Hamilton told Nub News:

"It's such a safe place around Swanpool, I'd never really expect something like this to happen.

"Just hope if the person is not found, that other people from around the lake will know to be more cautious where they're parking."

An appeal for information and warning was posted by Bex on Facebook this morning, stating:

"Between 7pm and 8am this morning my car got smashed by what looks like a lump of mud, or a hard punch, around Swanpool Lake, next to the footpath to Goldenbank estate, doubt anyone will but if anyone seen or heard anything let me know."
