A national strike is set to severely impact GWR rail services next week - including to and from Falmouth.

Planned industrial action by the RMT union in a dispute over pay and terms and conditions on 21, 23, and 25 June will result in a 'significantly reduced temporary timetable', according to Great Western Railway.

The railway operator has said that it will run as many trains as possible, but most services will be affected and it cannot provide replacement buses.

It also expects the trains it can operate will be extremely busy. Services on the days between the strikes may also be affected.

Can I get a refund?

If you have already bought a ticket, you can get a full refund or amend your journey. If you travel and are delayed by 15 minutes or more, you might be able to claim 'delay repay' compensation.

GWR will also let people use tickets for travel on strike days the day before and up to two days after.
