Concerns for a man on a roof sparked a heavy police presence in Falmouth last night.

Police were called out to Market Street yesterday (Thursday 27th) just after 7pm after a man climbed onto a building.

In pictures shared to Nub News, officers could be seen in town cordoning off the area.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News:

"Officers were called to Market Street, Falmouth, at around 7:05pm on Thursday 27th January following a report of concern for the welfare of a man on the roof of a building.

"The male made his way down from the roof a short time later, spoke with officers, and the incident was resolved safely."
