Police are continuing to search for a hit and run driver following an incident near Penryn that left a pedestrian with serious injuries.

Officers were called at 10:40pm on Saturday 28th May after a man was found unconscious on the side of the B3292 between Treluswell roundabout and Penryn.

It is believed that he had been involved in a collision with a Land Rover.

The pedestrian, a man in his 50s from Penryn, was taken to Treliske Hospital.

Today (1st), Devon and Cornwall Police issued a new appeal for information.

A police spokesperson added: "Police are looking to locate a Range Rover L322, possibly black in colour and registered between 2002 and 2012, which is believed to have been involved in a hit and run road traffic collision on B3292 Penryn, where a pedestrian sustained serious injuries.

"This vehicle is believed to have damage to the near-side wing mirror. If you have any information, please email [email protected] or call 101, quoting log 1121 28/05/2022."
