Police are currently appealing for information following reports of disorder which happened at a football match between Falmouth AFC and St Blazey AFC.

The incident occurred at Falmouth Town Football clubhouse on Saturday 25 January.

It is believed a group of fans travelled down and caused a disorder including the letting off of a smoke bomb which caused the game to be paused.

Hundreds of people were at the game, including children, and many of them were distressed and shocked by the behaviour they encountered.

They were also called to reports of an incident which happened outside of the grounds. A man had allegedly thrown a pint over a vehicle causing this to smash.

A 33-year-old man from Plymouth was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He was later released and no further action was taken.

If anyone has any footage or information relating to this incident, place contact police via [email protected] quoting log 509 25/12/20.
