Tracey continued: "I have been amazed at the total. People have been so incredibly generous I feel very humbled.

"I don't worry about having this or myself, I worry about the people in my family being upset and worried, that's what upsets me so much.

"Think of how many poorly children and their families that this money will help.

"If this has taught me anything its live each day as if it's your last you never know what's around the corner, treat everyone as you would want to be treated be kind and put a smile on."

Tracey is currently battling against aggressive small cell lung cancer and she's determined to beat it.

"They are going to treat me with all they have and I'm going to fight it," Tracey said.

Tracey's three children and her family have been the people getting her through this difficult time.

Tracey added: "My family, the community, friends and many more are what is getting me through this awful time, they are what's keeping me going.

"They are keeping me fighting and they keep me strong.

"They are just amazingly kind and loving human beings, I can never thank them enough."
