Pedestrian found unconscious side of the road after hit-and-run near Penryn
Police are appealing for witnesses following a hit-and-run collision near Penryn which left a pedestrian seriously injured.
Officers were called at 10:40pm on Saturday 28th May after a man was found unconscious on the side of the B3292 between Treluswell roundabout and Penryn.
It is believed that he had been involved in a collision with a Land Rover, possibly black in colour, which left the scene.
The pedestrian, a man in his 50s from Penryn, sustained multiple serious injuries and was taken to Treliske Hospital.
Officers from the Roads Policing Team are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision and carrying out enquiries to locate the driver.
They are appealing for witnesses to come forward and would be keen to hear from anyone who may have captured the incident on dashcam.
