Parklive Lineup Announced

The award-winning Parklive is going virtual for show 4 of 2020 and intends to keep its promise to continue bringing local music directly to the homes of people in Falmouth and Penryn, Cornwall, throughout the UK and across the waters.

This month we will be supporting an excellent charity that provides an opportunity for young people to experience outdoor activity and adventure.

BF Adventure is an outdoor education charity, based in Cornwall, with a mission to support children and young people on a journey of positive change. We give them the tools to identify and overcome their own challenges and give them an overall sense of empowerment.

We are passionate about enabling them to overcome barriers to education, work and social interaction. Donate via their page here.

Parklive will provide the platform for Cornwall-based performers in what has become a unique monthly virtual event.

Parklive will be broadcast on Parklive Youtube Channel on Sunday, 26th July from 12.00 to 1800, featuring an exciting and varied line up of music, spoken word and cooking.

Musicians include: Kaj, a singer-songwriter based on the North coast of Cornwall; Holly Turton, singer-songwriter from the UK, living and gigging in Cornwall; Bailey Tomkinson, up and coming singer/songwriter from St Ives; Davey and Dyer; two of the leading proponents of Cornish traditional Celtic music; Lionhat, sweet Reggae vibes; James Scarle, graduate of the BA Popular Music at Falmouth University; Louisa Hygate, member of Horses on the Beach; Liam Jordan, Americana singer-songwriter and touring musician based in West Cornwall; Du Glas, energetic, passionate country rock/folk band.

Mac Dunlop, performance poet and Paddy Haughton of Penryn Community Theatre contribute spoken word segments and Alex Bradshaw, who runs Kimberley Perk in Parklive's usual home of Kimberley Park will provide the cooking demonstration.

This event would not be possible without the ongoing support of our extraordinary sponsors,

Falmouth Town Council, Amata (Falmouth University), Jubilee Wharf, Falmouth Tyres and A1 Appliances.

Tune in on our YouTube channel – All At Parklive - Sunday 26th July from 12pm! We suggest you subscribe in order to be advised of the show start.

There will also be a link on our website - and the Source FM Facebook page.

The Parklive team would like to thank all the artists for giving their time and talent to the event.

Parklive is organised by Source FM 96.1, the community radio station for Falmouth and Penryn.
