The organisers of The Falmouth Cringe said the first festival was a "blast" and dropped some hints for next year.
From the 30th June to the 3rd July a host of comedians headed for Falmouth across performing across six brilliant venues.
The festival gave audiences the opportunity to enjoy high-quality comedy in a new fringe-style festival to match others across the UK for the first time, with headline gigs taking place during the weekend alongside a variety of new and exciting acts.
Performances included Tim Key, Kernow King, Jayde Adams, Anna Kierle, Rob Copland, Matt Price, and a number of after-parties with the likes of Headluv and Passman and DJ Checkmate.
Speaking to Nub News, organisers Ciska Earle and Johanna Brooks said next year they hope to add more stages and shows.
Johanna commented: "We had a blast and were really overwhelmed by the support and positive feedback we received from both the community and the artists about the festival. It was so wonderful to get the opportunity to connect with so many amazing people. As a first-time festival, we really didn't know what to expect but it was great to see that the audiences were really excited to have so much comedy in the town.
"My personal highlight was catching The Kernow Kings performance in The Poly and getting to spend time at the local's stage and seeing all the amazingly talented comedians we have in Cornwall. Plus Tim Keys opening night show, Mulberry, was outstanding and it was such an honour that he came to open the festival for us. Then finish with Jayde Adams WIP show 'Men I can Save you' was hysterical and such a great show to close the festival on - it really left us on a high."
