New Falmouth sports diner to go before licensing committee

The latest news on a new Falmouth sports bar takes another step as they seek a licence for the sale of alcohol.

The Dark Horse Sports Diner, 34 Church Street, will have a grant considered for the sale of alcohol, regulated entertainment and late-night refreshment when the licensing committee meets via Zoom on Monday 17th August.

Skyblueproperties gained approval in July last year to change of use from professional and financial services to a bar and restaurant at ground floor level and three flats.

If everything is approved, the hours for the bar will be looking for are:

Monday to Sunday 0800-000 hours for indoor films and sporting events, 0800-0200 hours for Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

Indoor recorded music and performance of dance 2300-0000 Monday to Sunday.

2300-0200 hours for Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

Indoor late-night refreshments 2300-0000 Monday to Sunday and 2300-0200 hours Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.

On the premises supply of alcohol Monday to Sunday 0800-2330 and 0800-0130 Christmas Eve and New Years.

Opening hours to be 0800-0000 Monday to Sunday and 0800-0200 Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
