Motorcyclists injuries not life-threatening after collision in Penryn

Police have provided an update following a multi vehicle collision yesterday evening.

There was queuing traffic on the A39 between Treliever and ASDA roundabout (21st) after an incident involving two cars and a motorbike.

An eyewitness from the scene said it looked like a "horrible accident".

The motorcyclist was transferred to Treliske Hospital with the injuries not described as life-changing or threatening.

The road reopened later that evening just before 8pm.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police told Nub News: "Police were called at 4:50pm yesterday, 21 June, following a collision involving two cars and a motorcycle on the A39 in Penryn.

"The male motorcyclist was taken to Treliske Hospital. Injuries not described as life-changing or threatening. No other injuries reported.

"The road into Penryn was closed near Asda and reopened at 7:55pm."
