The company Mega Slip and Slide currently runs a site in Dorset but will be opening up a new location on the Killow Estate off the A39 between Truro and Falmouth.

The wet and wild fun is currently available to book from July however, on their social media page they replied to a comment saying they hope to be open from the 29th of May for the bank holiday.

The site in Dorset boasts 110 metres of fun with two lanes but the slip and slide in Cornwall is set to be double that with four lanes and 397ft long.

Some of you may have concerns over the use of water, especially with the current hose ban in the county as Cornwall remains in official drought status but the team has highlighted that this shouldn't be a problem with their 'slide juice', they said: "We don't use regular water like most slides, no, we brew our own, extracting it from the deepest wells on the estate, where only the coolest of 'Juice' can be found."

They also add that the water or juice at the bottom of the slide gets recycled, continuously pumping from the bottom back up to the top.

The slide will also be an opportunity for some summer work, on the Cornwall site they posted last month that they are still looking to recruit 10+ team members for this year's Slip and Slide. Those interested have been to email: [email protected] and reference the Cornwall slide.
