Man arrested in Mawnan Smith

Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed a man has been arrested after a number of officers and even a helicopter was spotted around Manan Smith on Monday.

The police told Nub News that a man has been arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment, sexual assault, possession of a bladed article, dangerous driving, drug driving, and driving whilst unfit through drugs following an incident in Mawnan Smith.

Officers were called to an address at about 10.30 am on Monday 13 February. 

The officers conducted searches in the area and a man in his 20s was subsequently detained and arrested.

He is currently in police custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
