Local fire teams called in early hours to tackle property blaze in Flushing

Local fire teams were out well into the night tackling a property fire in Flushing (28th).

Crews from Falmouth, Helston, and Perranporth were called just after half past 12, with a duty officer and a support vehicle.

On scene, there was a fire in a barn conversion, consisting of two-storey and a lean to, measuring approx 5m by 10m.

Breathing apparatus were used, one hose reel to extinguish the fire in the roof space.

"The fire was extinguished and confirmed to be accidental and confined," Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service added.
