Castle Beach Cafe in Falmouth has shared that a window has been smashed on their new shed that was nearly ready to open.

The social media post from the cafe said: "Really devastating that some people have smashed a window on our little ice cream hut which was almost complete. My Dad and the rest of us had spent the past 5 days painting and decorating.

"It looks like they've had a Disposable BBQ in our shelter, burned one of our yellow rain covers, then tried to throw the BBQ inside of our shed. Thank god it wasn't alight. I've tried my best to clean up the broken glass but please be careful of any small fragments."

Emily who runs the cafe, told Nub News, that a dog walker had spotted the window this morning and rung the police who were waiting for her on arrival.
