Falmouth's plastic-free Discovery Market was launched in May and aims to promote local businesses while committing to being eco-friendly and sustainable.

Although it is now its third month, we thought we would remind Nub News readers of all the key information ahead of tomorrow's ( Friday 7 July) market.

Plastic-free takes place on most Fridays in Discovery Quay from 10am - 5pm. Occasionally the market will be closed for other events taking place in the area.

Behind the project is the experienced team that organise Truro Farmers Market, who are keen to invite all local food, drink, and craft businesses to apply for a stall.

All products sold at Discovery Market must be free of single-use plastic packaging. This is to help ensure the market sticks to its principles of reducing waste and promoting eco-friendly practices.

You can still apply for a stall but there is already a great variety of traders in place that have gathered from the local area.
