Kennall Vale Nature Reserve closed this week

Something for Falmouth and Penryn residents to be aware of is popular nature reserve Kennall Vale is set to be closed this week, it was announced this morning.

Cornwall Wildlife Trust has closed the site for the purpose of engineering works.

The news was shared by Caroline Kearsley on the Ponsanooth Post Facebook page.

She said:

"The Nature Reserve has been closed by the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, from today until Friday.

"This is for health and safety purposes, while holes are drilled for ground source heat for our house, outside the entrance.

"If it is finished early, the woods will, of course, be re-opened early."
