Falmouth Town Council has listed a new job opportunity as part of a Level 2 Horticulture & Landscape Operative Intermediate Apprenticeship. The successful applicant will join the Council's Grounds maintenance team to start their career.

The role will include regular on and off-the-job training, you will need to be able to travel to Duchy College, Rosewarne, Camborne one day a week as part of the apprenticeship.

The job will see you undertake a range of horticulture and grounds maintenance duties, in Falmouth's cemeteries and the town's parks & gardens, that will benefit residents and visitors.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 3/D) Essential
  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 3/D) Essential

The job will work on a rota basis, with shifts to be discussed at the interview. Some weekend work may be required but there will be a total of 37 hours a week. The annual wage listed is £9,254.44.
