Multi-award-winning comedian and actress Jayde Adams has been announced as the headline act for The Falmouth Cringe.

Jayde Adams' recent critically acclaimed special was released on Amazon Prime to worldwide applause, longlisted for an Emmy, and has amassed over 156 million views.

Jayde stars in Sophie Willan's BAFTA-winning TV series Alma's Not Normal (BBC Two), the upcoming Take That movie, Greatest Days and stars in Neil Gaiman's Good Omens (Amazon Prime) She is the co-host of the BAFTA-nominated series Snackmasters and Netflix smash hit, Crazy Delicious.

She brings a work-in-progress performance of her new show, 'Men, I can save you' to the closing night of The Falmouth Cringe. Tickets are now on sale for the show that will be appearing at Solskinn - The Church. Recently acquired by Harry James-Mills (the owner of Wesup and Solskinn in Falmouth) the Methodist church on Killigrew Street is due to reopen as a brand new community hub and arts performance space in Falmouth. 

The Falmouth Cringe is a bespoke comedy festival, running from 30th June to 3rd July, and is the first of its kind in the South West of England.

Working closely with 6 local, independent venues in Falmouth, the festival is bringing 25 comedy performances to the town to showcase talent from across the country and nurture and champion homegrown comedians. 

The festival will give audiences in Cornwall the opportunity to enjoy high-quality comedy with a new fringe-style comedy festival to match others across the UK for the first time, with four headline gigs taking place during the weekend alongside a variety of new and exciting acts including Tim Key (Alan Partridge, The Witchfinder, Tim Key's Late Night Poetry Programme).
