January crime statistics for Falmouth and Penryn

The latest crime figures released by police show how many crimes were committed in Falmouth, Penryn and the wider area in January 2021.

In Falmouth, 36 crimes were reported in Penwerris & Trescobeas (covering Packet Quays and Draceana Avenue), out of those, 13 were violence and sexual offences, 12 were anti-social behaviour, 5 were for drugs and 6 for all other crimes.

Arwenack & Boslowick (covering Pendennis and Swanpool), 55 crimes were committed, 21 for anti-social behaviour, 12 for violence and sexual offences, 10 for criminal damage and arson, 12 for other crime.

Boslowick, 7 were for sexual offences, 2 for criminal damage and arson, 2 for theft.

Penryn, Mylor & Penryn Rural, 100 crimes were committed, 51 of those in Penryn - there were 19 violence and sexual offences in that area and 9 for anti-social behaviour.

Crime figures for February 2021 have not yet been released.
