A new indoor skatepark has opened today in the former Argos building on Berkeley Vale in Falmouth.
The site is operating under the name of Love Park Falmouth, with the team behind the project acquiring a temporary license for 12 months.
Mayor Kirstie Edwards, who has been a driving force behind the town's plans to get a new skate park by the Dracaena Centre, confirmed that the long-term plans for the building were still a hotel.
Cllr Edwards added that it would be a great opportunity for Love Park to trial the business and she was happy that the building would no longer be sitting empty.
In the post on social media, the mayor also said there would be news coming soon on the Dracaena Plaza.
The park currently offers private lessons for all age groups from 8-9 am every day. Prices are £30 for one person, and an additional £10 for each person after that.
